IMPORTANT CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

As we continue to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus, First Bank recognizes that some of our customers may be negatively affected by the impacts of this global outbreak. Our focus continues to be the safety and well-being of our customers, employees and the communities we serve. We are committed to following the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other public health agencies to help prevent the spread of illness in Alaska.

 

UPDATE ON BRANCHES

To slow the spread of the Coronavirus, we have closed all of our branch lobbies.  Although our lobbies are closed, we are processing all regular branch transactions through our Drive Through for our drive up and walk up customers. You can also withdrawal cash at our ATM, deposit funds through our Night Drop (processed daily) and access to your funds through our Online and Mobile Banking services. We are available over the phone to open an account, inquire about a loan or to set up an appointment to access your safe deposit box. Please call the phone number associated with your branch below.

ATM Cash Withdrawal Limit Increase

First Bank has temporarily increased the daily cash withdrawal limit at ATM's to $515.00 from a First Bank account.

 

ACCOUNT ASSISTANCE

First Bank is prepared to offer assistance to impacted customers through a range of measures.  If you, as a current customer of First Bank, encounter hardship as a result of the coronavirus, please call us at 800-478-6101 (9:30 am – 5:30 PM AST Monday-Friday and 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Saturday) or your loan relationship manager. We will continue to monitor the situation to determine potential extension or expansion of available assistance and will continue to communicate these decisions with you.

 

ACCOUNT ACCESS

We strongly recommend that you leverage all the available First Bank tools and resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access. These include our mobile, online and telephone banking services and access to our ATM’s with an ATM or debit card.

In addition to helping customers navigate potential financial hardships, we also have contingency plans in place that are designed to prevent any service disruptions. These include remote access capabilities, alternate work locations for employees and continuity plans for critical operations.
